A Statement from Pastor Jorge Guerrero:
It has undoubtedly been a devastating week for many. Yet, in the midst of sorrow, there are several truths we must hold on to.
First, Charlie Kirk is now in the presence of our Savior. His race is complete because the Lord, in His perfect wisdom, determined that Wednesday would be Charlie’s final day on earth. While it was unexpected to us, it was not unknown to God. His will was accomplished exactly as He allowed.
Second, the power and impact of Charlie’s ministry were not his own. His influence came only because the Holy Spirit was working through him. If Charlie had labored in the flesh, his efforts would have been empty. But because it was God’s Spirit at work, we can trust that He is fully able to raise up others—even many others—to continue and multiply the work Charlie was doing. I believe countless young men have already been stirred and activated to take up that mantle and do a great work for God.
Finally, we must remember that God will use this tragedy for His glory. Even now, prayer gatherings are breaking out across secular, godless campuses, and young people are hearing the gospel in places once thought unreachable. I believe many will be saved, and we may be witnessing the beginnings of a spiritual revival across our nation. If God chose to call Charlie home so that revival might spread, then his departure was not in vain but of eternal worth.
Losing such a strong voice is painful, but it is amazing to see how God can use even this loss to magnify His name. Remember—God always turns what is meant for evil into an opportunity for His glory. Let us pray earnestly that our nation will return to the Lord through this moment, because that is exactly what Charlie longed to see.
