🌍💧 On this day in 1819, after years of faithful ministry in Burma, Adoniram Judson baptized the first believer of his ministry, Moung Nau.

For six years, Judson preached, translated, studied the language, and shared the gospel without seeing a single convert. It would have been easy to lose heart. But he remained faithful to the calling God had given him.

Following that first baptism, Judson wrote:
"Oh, may it prove to be the beginning of a series of baptisms in the Burman empire which shall continue in uninterrupted success to the end of the age."

What a reminder for us today: faithfulness matters, even when we can't immediately see the results.

If you've been serving, praying, teaching, discipling, or sharing the gospel and wondering if your efforts are making a difference, don't give up. God is always at work—even in seasons when the harvest seems slow.

📖 "Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up." – Galatians 6:9

Keep planting seeds. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep trusting. The God who calls us is faithful. 💛
