Our Kids Ministry kicked off our Summer Missions Bible Series: Big World • Bigger God tonight! This Summer we’re going to be learning how we are part of God’s mission to share Jesus with the world!

Our focus verse was John 3:16 and the Good News of Jesus. God loves the world> Jesus came to rescue us from sin> Now we must tell others the good news!

Our kids can be “sent” too! We discussed places where we can spread the Good News- Home, church, school, friends’ homes, during sports, the park, neighbors, restaurants- and how we might spread the Good News in those places. They learned that they can live on mission right in their own community!

We learned that according to John 3:16 we are the “whosoevers”, that our salvation and seat in Heaven is secure, and now we must help others secure their place too!

Mid lesson we had some special visitors and the kids had to stop and go on a bunny rabbit chase🤣

We had corn dogs, relay races, Bible verse puzzles, and finished with some chalk art. The kids were given cards with the John 3:16 verse and were challenged to share the Good News and give them out over the next week.

Pray that God continues to move in our kids’ lives! They are so special and God has big plans for them!

Today, in Sunday school we learned about the Day of Pentecost and the powerful way God moved among His people. We talked about how the name of Jesus is known and honored among all nations, and how it can be written and spoken in many different ways, yet still carries the same power and meaning.

We also learned about Peter’s obedience and boldness—how he followed God’s instructions without hesitation and shared the truth with others. It reminded us of the importance of being obedient to God in our own lives, listening to His guidance, and trusting Him even when it’s not easy.

Through this lesson, we were encouraged to live out our faith, share God’s word, and walk in obedience just as the early believers did.
