What a blessing to see Chawin Kumpoopong follow Christ in believer’s baptism yesterday. Mike Taney invited him to church on Easter Sunday a year ago. He grew up as a Buddhist and had never heard the gospel. He heard the gospel that day and said “I had never heard that Jesus died for me but I believe it!” Since his salvation, he has gone through discipleship and has a strong desire to follow Christ.

This Sunday will be bittersweet as we celebrate the retirement of my friend and fellow Pastor. Let’s give him a great send off with a wonderful service and a delicious lunch. It will be Potluck, so bring enough for your family and extra to share with potential guests. Come early for a good seat and a warm cup of coffee.
