Hey there! For this week’s Women of the Bible Wednesday, we’re not highlighting a particular woman from the Bible. Instead, we’re spotlighting a fabulous group of women you probably see every week at church. The Piecemakers Sewing Group is an incredible group that comes together to serve both the church and the community, truly embodying what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ.

What a beautiful send off to the day.
Sometimes the little things, like stopping to enjoy the colors of the summer sky, can end up being BIG things.

Ki Here. The story of the prodigal son is one that's been on my mind the past few days and how it can relate closely to family life and our walk with Christ.

You know those times when your heart just starts to wander? It can sneak up on you, other times, it hits like a ton of bricks thanks to stuff like disappointment, messing up, grief, or just being exhausted. But here's the awesome part, the Bible tells us that Christ never slams the door on anyone who wants to come back.

In Luke 15, Jesus shares this story about a son who ditched his dad’s place and blew through everything he was given. When he finally got his act together, he decided to head back home. He was bracing himself for shame, getting the cold shoulder, and a serious downgrade to servant status. But before he could even get his apology out, his dad ran to him with open arms. That’s exactly how God feels about us when we want to come back.

Coming back to Jesus isn’t about proving you’re good enough. It’s about trusting that His mercy is way bigger than any mess you’ve made. Jesus isn’t asking you to be all cleaned up before you show up. He’s inviting you to come as you are so He can patch you up.

Maybe you’ve felt a bit off in your prayer life. Maybe guilt’s got you thinking God’s done with you. Or maybe you’re wondering if you’ve drifted too far. But the Bible practically shouts that there’s always a way back. And God’s wide-open arms? They’re telling you that you’re never forgotten.

To catch sight of the Big Boy 4014 steam locomotive as it moved through town? It was such a neat experience.
