2:42 Youth Ministry

2:42 Youth Ministry "DEVOTED disciples of Jesus" Our ministry serves students in 6th through 12th grade. We are taking the steps to do that and would love for you to join us.

It is our desire that we join our church’s mission of “Knowing, Growing, and Showing the Love of Christ” by immersing ourselves in that love. We meet at Christ Community EFC on Sunday nights from 6:00 - 8:00pm for a time of devotion, fun, and fellowship and Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for Sunday School. There is a scriptural thread that weaves through our ministry both past, present and future. Our

past scripture verse was 1 Timothy 4:12(English Standard Version), which said, ”Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” However, as Paul continues to encourage Timothy he reveal what our ministry is striving for, “Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.

We had the most amazing time last weekend at Winterblast! We studied wisdom and had opportunities to connect with the Lord and with one another. To say we have an amazing youth group would be an understatement. This group is amazing, kind, and mature!

Come support our AMAZING youth group this Sunday, November 23rd! They will be selling Candy before and after the worship service. Proceeds go to youth events, retreats and conferences! MOST importantly, this is YOUTH SUNDAY, and these incredible young people will be ministering to us during the service as well!
