🌳 THE GOSPEL IN MINIATURE

What if the gospel message is already on display in the opening pages of the Bible?

In Genesis 3, we see more than the story of humanity’s fall. We see faith, grace, righteousness, judgment, separation from God—and the promise of coming home.

Adam and Eve sinned and were driven from Eden. But even there, God was already revealing His plan to redeem fallen humanity.

This Sunday at Unity Baptist Church, we’ll look at Genesis 3:20–24 and discover how this ancient story points us toward the greatest story ever told—and ultimately toward Jesus Christ.

This Sunday: Far as the Curse Is Found

Why is there so much suffering in our world? Why do we experience pain, toil, broken relationships, sickness, and death?

Genesis 3 gives us the answer—and it also points us toward hope.

This Sunday at Unity Baptist Church, we’ll open Genesis 3:14–19 and consider “Far as the Curse Is Found.” We’ll see how sin brought a curse upon creation, how God judged the serpent, the woman, and the man, and—most importantly—how God’s promise of redemption was already unfolding in the very midst of judgment.

The curse is real. The consequences of sin are serious. But the good news is that Jesus Christ came to reverse the curse.

As we sing at Christmas:
“No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found.”

Come worship with us this Sunday and hear the good news of the One who will ultimately make all things right!
