The sweet mercy’s of God are for His glory. Let’s talk about it.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are drawn in to a good work. A story is told of the building of the ARC. God, the Author of its design, gave explicit details which on its maiden voyage exhibited the Glory of God. God in His mercy preserved a remnant of His creation.
Jesus would sit with a gathered few at a supper and talk about the design of another ARC. God in His mercy would offer the body and blood of His only Begotten Son as a means of salvation. Less this design be forgotten, a practice was instituted to cause remembrance. Remember God’s Glory. If we are not careful, the works of our hands will start to stroke our ego pushing God into the background.
When we enjoy God’s bounty, we are to do so while keeping those who do not have in mind. God’s mercy is new and fresh each morning so we are never empty of opportunity. Every act is so God’s Glory may be seen.
God again, is gathering a remnant unto Himself. He calls out to the listening ear, and those who hear, He adds to what He calls the Church. Each part of the assembly and its practices are to offer Glory to God.
A latter rain is coming and clouds are beginning to form in the heavens. Today is the day of salvation and with an eye on the time, choose wisely that which glorifies and honors God. For some the days will be shortened so they will not be touched by the things to come.
It would be written, “Those who have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying.
Thanks for stopping by. I enjoyed our talk.
