In the fall of 2002, the Lord began to speak with Pastor Ski about the call on his life and what was expected of him. The name of the work is “Break-Out Ministries International” everything has a time and for BOMI the time is now. The name is very important and tells a great deal about the heart of the ministry. We believe that many Christians are being held back by shackles that the enemy has pla
ced there to keep them from achieving all that God has for them. It is our desire to teach and assist these people in “breaking-out” of these chains in order to experience life in its fullest. “Break-Out” is also a word used to describe an epidemic or fire, it gives the idea of something that is spreading rapidly, it is our desire to see the Word and Power of God “Break-Out” and spread across this generation in every nation. Secondly, “Ministries” means more than one ministry, we at “Break-Out” believe that it is the role of local pastors to raise up people to do what they are called to accomplish. Most ministries need some place to call “home”. A place where they can launch out or attend to get fed and refreshed. Another facet of the “ministries” part of the name is that Pastor Ski has a heart and a passion for this entire generation and his vision for BOMI is to have world class ministries for children, youth, young adult and families. The Bible tells us in the book of Acts that part of the reason for growth in the early church is they not only spent time in prayer and in studying the Word, but they also spent time in fellowship with each other building relationships. Good godly relationships are important at every stage in life. The final part of the name “international” is pretty self explanatory. We believe that the Good News is not just for Americans but for the world and it is our desire to reach the nations either by going ourselves or assisting others as they go. Break-Out Ministries International (BOMI) teaches a message of hope, encouragement and healing in every area of your life. We believe that true worship is also vital to both spiritual growth and in breaking out of the shackles that holds us back. Join us for a time of refreshing and growth.
