Next week marks 10 years that pastor Travis and his family began traveling to raise support to begin planting Compassion Church in Ashland. This morning, was “Step-up Sunday” at Compassion for our Children’s ministry. This picture is just a glimpse of what God can do when you commit to following His calling for your life!🙌

Today, at Compassion Church was "step up Sunday". All of our kids advanced to their next level of classes in Children's Ministry. We also honored all our children' Ministry volunteers! But the main focus of this morning's service was "Back to School, forward to Faith!" We pray this timely sermon is an encouragement and a challenge to you in your life!

Sometimes it's easy to want to slip into the crowd and not stick out as a Jesus follower, but this week, our very own Bryce Hill shares with us from Matthew 5: 11, 12 that "When we are reviled, Jesus smiles!" We hope this sermon encourages you up stand up and be bold in your faith for Christ!

This week, we close out the sermon series, "Just like Jesus!" As we do, I wonder how many Jesus followers are aware of someone in their circle of influence who is carrying some type of burden, yet they have done nothing to help lift that weight. It could be anything really, that's not important. What matters, is that if we are going to live our life, loving others like Jesus loves us, then love lifts the burden! We pray that this sermon is an encouragement to you this week!

💡 That’s a wrap on VBS and our hearts are full. We had an amazing week with some amazing kiddos!! Our Family VBS Night was such a special way to close out the week. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the week happen!!

If you missed out on VBS, no worries! We would LOVE for you to join us on Sundays at 10:00AM for our weekly service. We have kids programs and nursery available each week. If you do not have a home church please come!

If you don’t have a home church and want to check us out, come tonight! We are having a family style VBS at 6:00. There will be pizza, games, and lots of fun!!
