We would like to remind our families, that if there is any issues with the cemetery to please stop by the office, or call the office, to inform us of the problem. Improving our cemetery and our relationship with the families is our first priority. You can also message us on our page. Any and all complaints will be handled in a timely fashion. You and your loved ones are very important to us.

Golden Oaks and Rose Hill Burial Gardens would like to thank all of our First Responder's for everything that they do. Every year on 9/12 we try to do something to show how much we appreciate each and everyone of you. There are so many First Resonders in our area that we can't talk to each and everyone, so if you see this and you didn't get a personal thank you from us, please know that you are appreciated!!!

We have been thinking of more did you know facts to share with you all, and was coming up a little short until today. We had a family member come in that was very upset that his loved ones flowers were missing. After talking to him to get details of what the flowers looked like, we realized they were actual real flowers. I know this doesn't sound like an issue and it typically isn't, however it can become one. We are located in a wooded area, where deer love to come and roam. As you know deer love flowers, and when they come to visit us they snoop around all of the beautiful arrangements, as they come to a set that is real, they think its food. So they take them and eat them, leaving the family thinking that someone stole their arrangement. We are not asking that you don't place real flowers on the graves, we are just asking that you take that into consideration when you notice they are gone. We have been doing our best to recover any arrangements that get blown off by the wind or knocked off by the wild life that lives around us. If you do happen to have missing flowers, please let us know, we may have them here in the office waiting for you.

Please be advised, due to the recent storm, flower arrangements have been scattered all around the cemetery. Our maintenance crew has been working very diligently to recover them. Some arrangements are here at the office, but unfortunately, there were some that were not able to be saved. Please feel free to stop by the office to see if the flowers that were able to be recovered belong to you or your family.
Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to further assist you with any needs you may have.

* Just a little tip: Using fishing line to tie the arrangements down will help secure your loved ones flowers from being susceptible to high winds.

Did you know..... If you have a flat bronze memorial, you can turn your vase upside down, and it will fit perfectly flush with the bronze. It is made this way, so in the winter months, it can be stored upside to keep water from getting in it and freezing. The freezing water can crack the vase.

Did you know... using chemicals to clean headstones, is bad for them. You will want to use a vinegar and water solution, with a soft cloth to clean them. If you feel it needs a more abrasive method, try using a soft bristle broom. If you have any questions please stop in and see us, we will be more than happy to help.

We would like to remind everyone of the Fathers Day Balloon Release. It will be held at Golden Oaks, and we will release the balloons around 1. There will be prayer cards and balloons provided. Please feel free to come out and join, non property owners as well as property owners, are welcome. There will be a tent set up at the office where you will find a family counselor, ready to assist you.

We would like to remind everyone, that Monday the 4th, our maintenance men will be cleaning up the gardens, to get ready for the mowers. If you want to collect any of your decorations please come out before that Monday. Any decorations that are on the marker or monument, and does not interfere with the grass cutting will be left alone. Once again we appreciate everyone that came out, the gardens look so gorgeous with all of the decorations. We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!
