I saw this that someone else posted and thought I would share it with you, it is very true!! My prayer is that if you are reading this you have already accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior and it will drive you to pray diligently for the lost people you know in your life that they may receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, or if you are not saved that you will consider asking Jesus to be your personal Lord and Savior before it is too late!! If you have any questions, you can contact me here or call me at (731)-608-7014. I would be glad to speak with you about any questions you may have!
It does absolutely no good to pray for the dead......

Here it is: “A church visitor asked the pastor, “Can I request prayer?”

“Sure, what do you want prayer for?”

“My cousin died last week. Pray that God will guide him in the afterlife.”

The pastor asked, “Suppose you're taking an exam. Should you pray before the exam or after?”

“Obviously, before the exam.”

“Right. When you pray after the exam, it’s like you’re asking God to change the grades. That is not possible because God is faithful. He cannot deceive the result. Similarly, when we die, the exam is over. We can no longer change our destiny. Hebrews 9:27 says that we die once and then face judgment. That means no second chance. I’m sorry for your relative. He can no longer be prayed for. That is why people need to understand the Gospel while they are still alive. They had to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior before it was all over.”

Sinners who believe they can be saved after death will get the greatest shock of their lives. Teach the truth because that’s the only thing that can set people free. (John 8:32)

Psalm 35:9
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; it shall rejoice in His salvation.
I wanted to share this devotional with you today:“In 1 Thessalonians 5:8, the apostle Paul instructed believers to put on salvation as a helmet. In other words, thinking about the great gift God has given us protects us from Spiritual onslaughts. So today, consider: have you ever truly thought about what all your salvation entails? Yes, Jesus has forgiven your sins, and you have everlasting life in heaven. That's an extremely important aspect of our redemption. But many believers stop there in their understanding. Even worse, that definition of salvation can be repeated so often that we become numb to all it really means. You were spiritually dead and separated from God. Now you are spiritually alive and united with Him so intimately that His Holy Spirit inextricably indwells you. You have a new eternal purpose, identity, and family. You now possess the incredible capacity to receive God's wisdom, strength, and power, and to be a conduit of His glory. Knowing that should make a tremendous difference in your life! Ephesians 1:3 affirms, ' Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.' So today, protect your mind and encourage your heart by considering all that Jesus has done. Jesus, help me to realize the fullness of what You have done in salvation. Thank You for redeeming me. Amen“- Charles Stanley
I hope that you will enjoy today and have a great and blessed day in the Lord!!
