2. To promote the establishment and maintenance of churches, departments and church-related ministries; to advance the work of the Kingdom of God through preaching, evangelism and missionary endeavors throughout the world with special emphasis on Slavic peoples.
3. To foster a spirit of unity among RUEBU churches and to afford them opportunities and means to express collectively their views on moral and religious issues; and to cooperate with other groups of similar faith in the promotion and maintenance of these foregoing objectives. RUEBU Departments

Slavic Missionary Service, a missionary arm of RUEBU, has been helping the relief efforts in Ukraine since the beginning of the warring conflict. The missionaries of Slavic Missionary Service in Western Ukraine have been busy assisting the relief efforts in their respective regions. Churches, Sunday school buildings, Seminaries and even personal homes are active in providing “hospitality” and “hope” during this difficult time of warring devastation.

Especially in the Lviv, Volyn and Zakarpattia Regions are people fleeing in order to escape the devastation of war. Many are arriving in these areas with little more than “the shirts on their backs.” With God-given empathy and energy, the SMS workers have “sprung into action.” They are involved in distribution of humanitarian aid, providing shelter and sustenance to needy families and individuals, and transporting refugees to the borders with care packages. Most importantly, they are showing and sharing the love of God.

Consider how you can assist SMS in this vital opportunity in Western Ukraine. Slavic Missionary Service asks all its supporters to intercede on behalf of the country of Ukraine. There are thousands of displaced persons because of the conflict. Therefore, SMS has created a Ukrainian Relief Fund. Your contributions will assist the SMS workers to reach needy families not only with humanitarian aid and first aid treatment but also spiritual resources that will help them to present the good news of salvation in Christ.
