Tomorrow, we honor mothers.
Not simply for cooking meals, washing clothes, or managing schedules—but because God has often used mothers as instruments of wisdom, faith, protection, and spiritual formation.
In the opening chapter of Proverbs, Solomon introduces us to the foundation of wisdom. Before he discusses money, temptation, relationships, or leadership, he says:
“Don’t reject your mother’s teaching.”
That tells us something powerful:

It’s a beautiful, snowy Sunday morning here at Wayside Baptist Church in Ashford, Alabama. You can experience a beautiful drive if your headed out to worship this morning. We will be here for you at 10 am.

The roads are wet but not frozen; but and if you feel safer at home, I encourage you to stay home. We also understand some of have snow accumulation and are unable to clear it. Don't stress. Hunker down, open your Bible and worship the Lord in the safety of your home.

We will also have our men's and women's Bible studies this evening. We hope to see you soon!
