The exhibit runs Dec. 6-15 at First Baptist Church of Asheville, featuring nativity scenes from more than 70 countries.

For centuries the crèche as an art form has flourished in homes and churches worldwide.

Volunteers are needed as Hosts. Hosts greet visitors, offer assistance, and ensure that the Nativity sets are not touched. A Host is also needed to watch over the life-size stable and costume area. If you have an hour or more that you can volunteer, please sign up by folllowing the link.

As a gift to our community, the Asheville Nativity Exhibit will be open December 6-15. Hundreds of Nativity sets from around the world will be on display. Free to the public. This family-friendly event includes a life size stable and costumes. Open weekdays 5-8pm. Saturdays 10-8pm. Sundays noon-8pm. 5 Oak St, Asheville.
