Hey church/Facebook family, I wanted to ask for extra prayer support.
Dad has been diagnosed with C-dif which is an infection of the colon.
It's caused by antibiotics, but ironically must be treated with an antibiotic. Dad currently can't swallow and the antibiotic isn't available in liquid form.
They are going to try to get him the antibiotic through a nose tube, but that may not work.
This condition is usually a mild treatable condition, but if not treated and/or the patient is over 65 with other health issues it will be fatal.
I'll update you as I can.
