We had a great start to our summer program!! The fellowship hall had wonderful decorations in our western theme! We had delicious chicken sandwiches, tater tots, and homemade rice krispy treats.
Zachery Hughes and Josh created two teams, the Boots and Bandanas for the night! They started with a minute to win it game. Two people had to stack a tower of dice. The person who was able to stack it the highest the fastest was the winner! Team boots won the first minute to win it game!
Brad spoke from 1 Peter 3:15. Our focus was on Gideon and being ready to witness to everyone! We should listen and obey God. Gideon was chosen because he's a man of God and he asked questions but did follow and serve God.
The teachers each had a short lesson that went further into the story of Gideon. We missed CR Fleming and her family tonight!! We also had two clubbers that earned badges and two birthdays!!
Josh continued the fun with playing, birds of a feather. The kids had to run around and try to knock a ball out of each other's hands! We can't wait for the fun to continue during our summer program this year!!
📣 Because of summer camp, next Wednesday we will meet at church at 7:00 and there will be no meal!
