The Episcopal Church celebrates diversity, honors tradition and transforms hearts and lives. We strive to live by the example of Jesus Christ, welcoming all and helping our neighbors. We walk the 'middle way' between Protestant and Catholic traditions. Worship, using the Book of Common Prayer, is the centerpiece of our coming together. Through Holy Communion, preaching, teaching, fellowship, and service we strive to express the fullness of our biblical heritage. Today, we have nearly 300 individuals of all ages and backgrounds actively participating in our community of faith.

Between the energy in the pews and the wonderful conversations over coffee, today was a fantastic start to our fall season.

We are looking forward to an incredible year of learning, worshiping, and sharing fellowship as a church family.

Big things are happening this Sunday at Good Shepherd!
Join us on Sunday, September 13 as we celebrate Rally Day and mark the kickoff of our fall ministry season and Sunday School classes!
Blessing of the Backpacks: All students, teachers, and school staff are invited to bring their backpacks, tote bags, or school supplies to worship for a special blessing as the new academic year begins. Every student will receive a tag for their bag to remind them of God's love wherever they go!

Our beloved Fr. John is undergoing cochlear implant surgery on Tuesday, September 15! He will be stepping away for 4 to 6 weeks to rest, recover, and begin his journey towards better hearing. While he is away, Katy will be available for pastoral emergencies and will lead our Wednesday healing services.
Pleas keep Fr. John and his medical team in your prayers for a smooth procedure and an easy recovery.
