If I could go back and talk to my 8 year old self what would I say…

I’ve been a kid. I’ve been an adult. The later is far too overrated. To think I wished away a perfectly good childhood for this? Lord have mercy! What a miracle youth is and what a killjoy time becomes. Cherish your youth kid! Enjoy those few magical summers with your friends! Reality and life come along fast enough…. today really is your best day. Have fun while you still have time and freedom from the cares of adulthood. Don’t wish your days of youth all away. Embrace it! Cherish it! Live it! Love it! Because I can promise you this. One day, and much sooner than you’d ever imagine, you’ll miss this time in your life more than you could ever dream.
