Baca meaning 'weeping'... we all have at some time in our life possibly more than once, and shall again experience a Valley of Baca. A promise from God's Word declares that our "weeping" if we make a choice, the experience can be a well of living waters and the dry places can be replaced with new life. But it is a choice we make as we are experiencing the Valley of Baca...not before or after but during the experience!

Psalm 84: 5Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. 6Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. 7They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. 8O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. 9Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

Only the Lord knows the true path designed for our earthly journey. Only He through the Holy Spirit can lead us through the many challenges that are set as entanglements, or distraction to lure us from the path God has purposed. We must grow to a place that our total trust and confidence are only in the Lord.

This morning our sister, Lois Corbell shared this beautiful song with us. Stopping and embracing that someone died that we might be free. With the Fourth of July at hand and of course Jesus died that all mankind could be free. He took our place, his blood was the supreme sacrifice.
