Hi families, please take note! Our Wednesday night kids and youth programs are not meeting tonight! From June 3rd-September 9th, we will be on summer break. Please do check out CFC's upcoming Summer Events! We'll be hosting the Family Ministry BINGO Night on July 22nd, so hope to see you there!

We're super excited to celebrate the graduating 8th graders and 12th graders!

Families, please note:
+Sunday, June 7: Pastor Mike Haynes will be blessing the HSU graduates during 1st service in the Main Worship Center.

+ Sunday, Jun 14: 1) Parents of incoming 6th graders are invited to the Youth Room upstairs for 6th grade orientation! 2) We will have a time to bless the 8th graders + 12th graders upstairs in the youth room during the 1st worship service time slot. 3) Likewise, 8th graders will be celebrated upstairs during the 2nd worship service as well.

Pastor Brian spoke on 1 Corinthians 15: 50-58 on Sun. The resurrection changes everything—our identity, priorities, and daily choices. Because Jesus is alive, our lives have eternal purpose, and what we do now truly matters. We’re called to live “We over Me,” reflecting Christ together/

+ Choose gospel thinking over cultural thinking
+ Serve others over self (humility over pride)
+ Focus on future eternity over present comfort
+ Endure faithfully instead of seeking escape

Remember, your work in Christ is never in vain!

In this final episode of We Over Me, Brian and Jon close out the series — and the season — by returning to the resurrection and asking the question that has driven every conversation: how do we pursue this life with God together?

One of the great obstacles on this journey isn't "them" — it's the culture closest to you. Comfort, efficiency, and busyness are the most ignored yet most persistent rivals to the reality of the gospel in your life. A resurrection-centered life asks a different question: not what feels right to me, but what is God up to? That reorientation calls us from self-focused to others-focused, from present circumstances to larger reality — and it grows through endurance, connection, and staying rooted in the One who rewrote the story in the first place.

Friends, this is a long journey. Find people who want to take it with you.
