FAITH THAT ENDURES
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial…” — James 1:12

This past Sunday, we opened James 1:12 and fixed our eyes on Jesus.
He doesn’t promise a life without pressure—but He does promise His presence in it.
We were reminded that joy isn’t found in escape, but in endurance.
Not because we’re strong, but because He is.

Jesus is our strength.
Jesus is our reward.
And Jesus is always worth it.

This Sunday – 9 & 11 AM
Some of us are tired. Some of us are stuck. Some of us are barely holding on.
But the Word still speaks.
And Jesus still saves.

We’re not gathering to go through the motions.
We’re opening the Bible. We’re lifting our eyes. We’re asking God to move.

You don’t need to have it all together.
You just need to come hungry—for the Word.

We are God’s temple.
Today we opened 1 Corinthians 3:16–17 and were reminded: the church isn’t a building—it’s God’s people, made holy by His Spirit.

Grateful for everyone who gathered this morning—and for those who took a step forward at Step One after each service.

Sunday was full of life.
We worshiped, opened 1 Corinthians 3, celebrated baptisms, and gathered for Membership Class.

Last night’s Sisterhood gathering was such a gift. We worshipped, laughed, shared good food, and grew in our faith as we talked about God’s faithfulness.

So thankful for every woman who came—especially those who joined us for the first time. Can’t wait for the next one!

Pastor Steve continued our verse-by-verse study through 1 Corinthians today, preaching from chapter 3:5–9.

On this Father’s Day, the message encouraged us to be faithful in helping others grow—knowing that God is the one who brings the growth.

Can’t wait to see you next Sunday as we keep growing in the Word together.

Baptism Sunday!

We opened 1 Corinthians 3:1–4 and were reminded that spiritual growth doesn’t come by following human leaders. It comes as we respond to God’s Word and grow in Christ.

And today, through baptism, believers declared that their allegiance is to Jesus alone—and they are walking in new life with Him.

The gospel saves. The gospel transforms.

All the glory to God.

We don’t take Sundays like this for granted.

We continued our study through 1 Corinthians 2:14–16 and were reminded that it’s only through God’s Spirit that we’re able to see clearly, think rightly, and understand the things of God.

We worshiped, opened God’s Word, and shared in Communion as we remembered Christ’s sacrifice.

Sundays like this help us fix our eyes on what matters most.
