In this episode of Franciscan Fridays, Father Luke Mary Fletcher and John Paul reflect on the September apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, the power of prayer and sacrifice, and the beautiful reminder that God sees our efforts and is pleased when we humbly offer them to Him.

The conversation also explores the importance of praying for specific people in our lives—our family, friends, and loved ones—and how offering prayers and sacrifices for them can become a powerful expression of sacrificial love.

As we approach September 13, we look back at the events of Fatima, including the large crowds gathered for the September apparition and Our Lady's promise of the final apparition and the great miracle to come in October.

We also share a glimpse into recent events at Our Lady's Shrine in New Jersey, including Padre Pio Day, the Filipino celebration of Mary's birthday, and the many Catholic cultures and traditions represented at the Shrine.

Most importantly, take this encouragement from the message of Fatima: God sees you. He knows your struggles. He sees your prayers and sacrifices. And even when your efforts feel small or imperfect, you can offer them to Him with confidence.
