There will be no Church Service in Pattenburg, on June 28th. Instead there will be a combined Church Service held at the Kingwood UMC at 9:00 am. Sadly, this will be the last Sermon given in Kingwood. It will be closing its doors after 240 years. The oldest Methodist Church in Hunterdon County, since 1780. A very sad day for all who have called this Church their home and Family. I will always remember the devotion of Kathy Delaney Bauer, who was the lead in holding the most wonderful Roast Beef Dinners, and the gifted Shepherds Pies, which helped this Church continue on its mission through these past years. A traditional service will be held this Sunday, followed by a Potluck Meal afterward.
