Mandala Poojai - April 14, Friday; 6.30pm onwards

Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple's Maha Kumbabisekam was held in February 2023. We will be performing a Mandala poojai on, April 14 Friday, to indicate the completion of a Mandalam (48 days) after the Kumbabisekam. Participating in this poojai is considered as auspicious as it is to have attended the Maha Kumbabisekam. April 14 also happens to be the Tamil New Year/Chithirai Thirunaal.
All are welcome to come and get Murugan's blessings.

The Maha Kumbabisekam of the New Jersey Murugan Temple took place in a grand manner from February 23 to 26, 2023

Highlights of the event
- Yagasalai and Homam in a traditional way
- Kalasam alangaram and abisekam
- 4000+ meals served; 3 times a day on all 4 days
- 15+ hours of various religious and cultural activities. Participants from various states and schools performed in the temple
- 40+ hours of live telecast with more than 1000 viewers.
- 100+ Volunteers helping with the event starting from parking, food to cleanup.
- 1000's of devotees visited the temple to get Murugan's blessings

Thank you to all donors, volunteers, and devotees for making the first Murugan Temple in New Jersey happen.

It is considered auspicious to visit the temple during 48 days after Kumbabisekam - the temple will be open from 9am to 8pm on all days until 4/13/23.
