Public Assistance Requested - Missing Endangered Person

The Neptune Township Police Department is seeking public assistance to help locate a missing endangered man, Darius Merritt, 35. Family members report that their last contact with him was on 6/7/2023 and that he may have been traveling to Newark, NJ. He has recently moved from North Carolina to New Jersey and has no known vehicle or cell phone. Family members also advised that he has a diagnosed mental illness. Anyone with information regarding his location is asked to contact the NTPD at (732) 988-8000, or their local police department by dialing 9-1-1.
