We did it with faith and grace.
A tender goodbye. A sacred closing.
Grateful for every step that brought us here.
We cried. We laughed. We remembered.
And we carried the light forward into what comes next.

Yesterday, we closed the doors of St. Andrew,
but opened our hearts to a new beginning.

Thank you for 66 years of spirit, service, and love.
May the legacy live on in every soul we touch.

It's been an amazing 66 years of ministry! St. Andrew will have a final worship service this coming Sunday, June 8. This service, a service of Holy Closure, marks the end of holy ministry at the corner of 66th and Pierce Street. The Arvada Fire Department has purchased the property for a new fire station sometime in the coming months. Blessings to all who passed by, came in, or were otherwise touched by the ministry of these special people.

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Epiphany (a day early) and choose our "Star Words" for the year. We'll explore the story of the Magi, who follow a star, embarking on a long journey in a foreign land in order to honor the newborn Christ. Instead of returning to Herod as commanded, they trust their dreams and go home by another way. Their road isn’t straight, but God “makes a way in the wilderness” (Isaiah 43:19) as they follow their intuition and diverge from the expected path.

This Sunday, we explore the call to "do the good that is ours to do," as echoed by John the Baptist in Luke 3 and Isaiah’s vision of being "repairers of the breach." John's message challenges us to respond to the question, "What, then, should we do?" with small, ordinary acts of justice and righteousness that collectively transform lives and heal communities. Together, we trust that each of us has something to offer, and that in community, we bear the fruit of God’s kingdom.

This Sunday, we reflect on the story of Ruth and Naomi, a reminder that we’re not meant to walk alone. Ruth’s commitment to Naomi shows the power of connection and shared faith. Advent invites us to reach out and embody God’s love, who chose to journey with us. Together, we are stronger.
