A look back at our Father’s Day celebration at Guys, Games & Grills 🔥

From chicken and waffles, lawn games, and tri-tip fresh off the Santa Maria Grill to worship, fellowship, root beer floats, and tri-tip nachos, it was a day full of great food, community, and gratitude.

We’re thankful for the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who faithfully love, lead, and invest in the next generation. Thank you for the impact you make both in our church and beyond 🤍

We can make the best plans, but God is always in control. Sometimes He redirects us for reasons we don't understand yet. His sovereignty over our lives is absolute. Always involve Him in your plans, as our foresight is limited, but He can change everything instantly.

Many trust their own abilities for their future, planning and pursuing goals without seeking divine wisdom. Scripture teaches that involving God from the start is crucial for blessed plans. Moving forward without prayer or dependence on Him invites danger. When our plans are self-centered and they fail, who do we blame?
