What happens when God’s people become busy with everything except what matters most?

In this message from Haggai 1, we explore God’s wake-up call to a discouraged and distracted remnant who had rebuilt their own lives while leaving the house of God in ruins. Through the prophet Haggai, God confronts misplaced priorities, disordered loves, and functional atheism—the tendency to claim faith while living as though God’s presence has little impact on our daily decisions.

Together we’ll discover:
• Why revival begins with rebuilding the altar
• What it means to “give careful thought to your ways”
• How lesser things become ultimate things
• Why God calls us to build what matters most
• The life-changing promise: “I am with you”
• How the Holy Spirit stirs ordinary people into obedience and mission

This message is a timely invitation to put worship before comfort, God’s kingdom before personal advancement, and His presence before everything else.

Key Scriptures:
Haggai 1 • Ezra 3:6 • Matthew 4:17 • Luke 12:18–21 • 1 Corinthians 3:9–16

🔥 Training for THE Hour
Hearing the Spirit’s Voice in the Hour of Testing
What if one of the most important skills a disciple can develop is learning to recognize and respond to the voice of the Holy Spirit?

In this message, we explore Jesus' promise in Luke 12:11–12 that when the hour of testing comes, the Holy Spirit will teach us what we ought to say. The goal of discipleship is not merely accumulating more information, but cultivating such intimacy with Jesus that we become familiar with His voice and responsive to His leadership in every season of life.

Together we'll explore:
• Why hearing God's voice is central to Christian maturity
• The Father's desire to generously give the Holy Spirit
• How Jesus modeled Spirit-dependent living
• Why the wilderness precedes power
• The battle between self-reliance and God-reliance
• What the wilderness exposes in our hearts—appetites, allegiances, ambitions, and the need for approval
• The Spirit's role in salvation, sanctification, empowerment, and mission
• How to live ready for "that very hour" when God calls upon you to speak, serve, witness, or endure faithfully
Jesus was filled with the Spirit, led by the Spirit, tested in the wilderness, and empowered for ministry. The same Spirit has been given to God's people today—not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

The question is not simply, "What should I do?"
The deeper question is, "Have I learned to hear?"
📖 Key Scriptures:
• Luke 12:11–12
• Luke 11:13
• Acts 2:32–33
• Luke 3–4
• Acts 10:38
• Hebrews 2:3–4
• Romans 8
• Galatians 5
• 2 Timothy 1:7

May we become a people who are ready for the hour because we have learned to walk with the Spirit every day.

What if Psalm 1 is more than wisdom literature? What if it is an invitation back to the life humanity was created for?
In this message, we explore how Psalm 1 echoes the story of Eden and reveals God's vision for human flourishing. From the Garden of Eden to the present day, Scripture presents two paths before us: the way of life and the way of death, the tree planted by streams of water and the chaff blown by the wind.

Together we'll discover:

• Why Psalm 1 is deeply rooted in the imagery of Eden
• What it means to be a blessed image-bearer of God
• How doubt, deception, and disobedience lead us away from life
• Why God's Word is given for our flourishing, not our restriction
• What it looks like to be rooted in the Source of Life
• The difference between a fruitful tree and weightless chaff
• How God's loving eye remains on those who trust Him

The blessed life is not found in self-reliance, cultural wisdom, or chasing our own way. It is found in delighting in God's Word, trusting His voice, and remaining connected to the river of His presence. Like a tree planted by streams of water, God desires that His people bear fruit in every season.

📖 Key Scriptures:
Psalm 1
Genesis 1–3
Jeremiah 17:5–8
Psalm 32:7–10

"Blessed is the one whose delight is in the law of the Lord..." (Psalm 1:1-2)

What happens when the Word of God wounds us?
In this message, Wounded by the Word, we explore Hebrews 4:12–16 and discover that God's Word is not only alive, active, and sharper than a double-edged sword—it is also a loving gift that exposes unbelief, reveals what is truly in our hearts, and leads us into deeper rest, repentance, healing, and transformation.

The same Word that feeds and leads us also tests and sifts us. Yet the goal is never condemnation. Through Jesus, our great High Priest, we find mercy, grace, and confidence to approach God's throne. The Word wounds in order to heal, removes what hinders love, and forms us into people who live by faith, hope, and love.

📖 Key Scriptures:
Hebrews 4:9–16
Deuteronomy 8:2–3
2 Timothy 3:16–17
Luke 24:26–45
1 John 4:15–18
Revelation 19:14–16

May our response be: "Let it be to me according to Your word." (Luke 1:38)
