The Liberia Sports Camp Team is on our way! ✈️🇱🇷
Our team will gain one more all-star as we pick up our ministry partner, Dennis Aggrey, during our first layover! We would love your prayers for our team and for the children we'll have the opportunity to serve in the coming days.
At the very top of our prayer list is that hearts would be changed by the hope of Jesus. That's what matters most.
And while we're praying... we'd also be grateful if you asked God to help all of our luggage arrive with us (there's a LOT of it! 😅) and to keep everyone healthy throughout the trip.

Summer Local Missions is back! Our first event kicks off this coming Wednesday, May 13th at Arnold Park. Meet us at the Dogwood Pavilion at 11am as we get ready to share joy with our neighbors. We’ll grill and provide free food and drinks for our community, hand out invite cards, and pray for opportunities to share the gospel. Who’s ready to share the love of Jesus?!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to serve at 15th Street on Saturday! What an incredible day loving our community and sharing the hope of Jesus!

Here’s what God did through your generosity and willingness to serve:

• 1,495 food items donated by FBCA to build food baskets
• 276 Bible tracts personally handed out while sharing the Gospel — we praise Jesus! This is why we do what we do!
• 325 food baskets assembled with non-perishable items
• 290 food baskets distributed — each with a 13 lb turkey and a hot turkey dinner-to-go
• 34 baskets + 300 extra food items restocked the pantry
• 41 FBCA volunteers + our friends at 15th Street Baptist Church serving side-by-side

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Today marks the start of the Deaflympics in Tokyo! We have partners and friends who are leading and coordinating efforts on the ground, working alongside volunteers from around the world to share the gospel with everyone attending.

The 2025 Deaflympics kicks off today!

Deaf and hearing missionaries are sharing the light of Christ at the Deaflympics 2025.

The nations are gathering in Tokyo—and we’re praying together.

While IMB representatives have attended previous Deaflympics, this marks the first time IMB has mobilized volunteers, church partners, and national partners for outreach.

Teams of Deaf believers, hearing signers, and non-signers will share the gospel through conversations, gospel trading pins featuring this design, and follow-up to connect individuals to churches back home.

Prayer Update!
Our Liberia Storying Team is just hours away from landing in Monrovia! Thank you so much for your prayers that have covered them along the way!
Over the next couple of weeks, the team will travel to a rural church plant to lead a Storying training for pastors and local leaders. Each day, participants will learn a new Bible story and how to ask thoughtful questions that spark meaningful discussion. In the evenings, the participants will go out into nearby villages to share these stories as a way of spreading the Gospel.
Please continue to pray for:
The Holy Spirit’s guidance and understanding as participants learn and teach God’s Word.
Open hearts in every person who hears the stories.
Protection, health, and unity for the team as they serve.
May lives be transformed as God’s story is told and heard across Liberia!
