On Sunday September 20 from 2:00pm-4:00pm the Armington Christian Church, Armington Fire and Rescue, Armington Park District, and the Armington Village Board are hosting a Fall Fun Fest at the Park District building at 402 South Griffin Street in Armington. We will have hot dogs, chips, drinks, ice cream treats, a Kona Ice truck, 4 inflatables, face painting, and other outdoor games. The Fire Department will have trucks for people to see, gear to try on, and will have water challenges. We accept donations of money or school supplies to support our local Olympia Schools.

On Sunday we had a person whose Facebook profile was only a few days old post about being suicidal and needing someone to talk to on our live stream. I offered to let her call the church, but she never did.

Let me be clear, I am a minister of the Gospel, not a certified counselor. If you at any time are feeling depressed and need help, dial 988 to get connected with a crisis counselor. You are always welcome to be with us and I firmly believe that Jesus can heal every hurt that we have and that every life is valuable. You are not alone and there are resources to help.
