For young women transitioning out of foster care, adulthood can begin without the safety net so many of us take for granted—a stable home, consistent guidance, someone to call, and a place where they know they belong.

That is why Destiny Empowerment Enterprises, Inc. created FINALLY HOME at Rachel’s House.

FINALLY HOME is more than housing. We provide young women ages 18–24 with a safe and stable place to live while helping them develop the skills, confidence, and support systems they need to successfully navigate adulthood.

Our doors are open. Young women are being served. Lives are being impacted. And the need continues.

Since opening our doors, we have had the privilege of walking alongside young women at different stages of their transition—welcoming them in, supporting them while they are with us, and helping them take important steps toward education, employment, financial stability, and greater independence.

Yet too many young women aging out of foster care are expected to build an adult life without the safety net many of us take for granted.

•No parent to call when the rent is due.
•No family home to return to when life becomes overwhelming.
•No trusted adult to help navigate education, employment, finances, transportation, housing, or life’s unexpected challenges.

That is why Destiny Empowerment Enterprises, Inc. exists.

Since 1999, DEE, Inc. has helped people move beyond crisis toward stability, self-sufficiency, and lasting transformation.

Through our flagship program, FINALLY HOME at Rachel’s House, we provide young women ages 18–24 transitioning out of foster care with far more than housing. We surround them with:
• A safe, stable place to call home
• Caring adults and consistent guidance
• Individualized case management
• Education and workforce support
• Financial literacy and practical life skills
• Transportation and wellness resources
• Accountability, encouragement, and community

Most young adults do not become independent the moment they turn eighteen. They still need someone to call when the rent is due, the car breaks down, or life becomes overwhelming.

But for many young women aging out of foster care, there is no family home to return to, no trusted adult to guide them, and no safety net when life does not go according to plan.

Through FINALLY HOME at Rachel’s House, Destiny Empowerment Enterprises, Inc. provides more than a place to live. We offer safe, stable housing, meals, transportation assistance, life-skills training, case management, educational and workforce support, accountability, encouragement, and a community that reminds each young woman that she does not have to navigate adulthood alone.

With Destined For Greatness Youth Initiative – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

Giving back and serving others is a legacy I inherited from my parents.

They weren’t just hardworking people—they were history makers and trailblazers who believed that true success isn’t measured by what you accumulate, but by the lives you impact along the way.

They taught me and my sisters that when God blesses you, you become a blessing to someone else.

That lesson has shaped my life, my ministry, and the mission of Destiny Empowerment Enterprises, Inc. and FINALLY HOME at Rachel’s House. Every opportunity to serve, encourage, and help someone build a better future is a way of honoring the example they set before me.
