Westover Baptist Church of Arlington, Virginia Since 1940 Westover Baptist Church has served and continues to serve the surrounding community through its members, staff, building partners and programs.

Our church is a voluntary community of persons who have experienced newness of life through faith in Jesus Christ. We are a fellowship seeking to live under the authority of God with equal rights and obligations; mutually responsible to and for each other in love; and dependent on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We exist as a church to praise God and to serve Him through witness, influe

nce, and works of compassion. We recognize and receive the Bible as the inspired Work of God. We accept the doctrines and teachings of the New Testament as the foundation of our faith and practice. Therefore our purpose is: the worship of God; the study, teaching and practice of God’s Word and Christian discipleship; the promotion and advancement of Christ’s kingdom throughout the earth beginning in our community; and the preservation and promotion of our Baptist heritage and beliefs.
