There are seasons when heaven seems quiet.

No answers.
No direction.
No visible movement.

But silence is not abandonment.

“Divine silence is not God’s absence; it is His intentional pause.”

The pause is where faith is refined, trust is strengthened, and unseen work is taking place beneath the surface.

If God seems silent right now, don’t mistake His quietness for distance. Sometimes the greatest preparation happens when nothing appears to be happening at all.

What Sacrifice Required — Then and Now.

This past Wednesday in Bible study, we explored a truth many overlook: God’s requirements were never arbitrary. Every instruction pointed to alignment, access, and relationship with Him.

From clean hands, to a proper offering, to a correct approach, one truth became clear:

Miracles are expensive spiritually.
Cheap access has never produced costly oil.

This is not about religion.
This is not legalism.
This is the architecture of access.

Moses was simply tending sheep… until God interrupted his routine. The defining moment was not just the fire—it was the fact that Moses turned aside to see it.

Sometimes obedience is not found in staying the course. Sometimes to receive instruction from God a turn is required.

What if the thing God is trying to reveal cannot be found by continuing straight?

Sometimes continuing straight is disobedience.

The next instruction may be waiting in the direction you’ve been hesitant to turn. Exodus 3:3

Many people hear God’s instruction… but only a few move on it.

Hearing is common.
Obedience is rare.

The difference between those who stay stuck and those who step into purpose is often motion.

God can give the word, the strategy, the warning, the opportunity—but if it never turns into movement, nothing changes.

Faith was never meant to sit still.

Don’t just hear it.
Move on it.

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…” — James 1:22 (NKJV)
