We are pleased to announce that Make Change Ministry is up and running. Please read below to see how God is positively working through this ministry. Thank you for your support. God is good!

Make Change Ministry established through our Justice Formation Fellowship.

This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all and upon all who believe, for there is no distinction. – Romans 3:22

BACKGROUND: Over the course of history and still present today, our nation is overflowing with prejudice. For decades, minority communities have been victimized by violence, racism, and injustice. This is where Make Change Ministry comes into play.

PURPOSE: Make Change Ministry supports and provides a voice for those subjected to violence, racism, and injustice by examining, innovating, and implementing ways to make change by spreading the love of Jesus Christ. Spreading the love of Christ to make a difference in one’s life will contribute and benefit to the growth of His kingdom. Jesus paid the price once for all who choose to receive Him as Lord and Savior (Romans 6:10). Today’s society is long overdue for change. Our world will not change unless all people receive Christ. It is time for the family of Christ to take a step forward in promoting change. It needs to begin now, and it begins with us (Matthew 28:19). We cannot expect change in our world where we are idly standing by. We can only make disciples if we first minister and spread the love of Jesus.

CURRENT INITIATIVE: Make Change Scholarship Fund will be available to minorities by completing an application and essay. Only submissions with school counselor verification will be considered. Essay requirements: 500-750 words typewritten and answers the following questions:

1. How have you been impacted by violence, racism, and/or injustice?
2. How will you share your story, minister and share Christ’s love with others?
3. How do you plan to take a step forward in making change for those impacted by violence, racism, and injustice?

*NOTE: Scholarship application will be available in Fall 2020.

The number of scholarship winners will be dependent on the amount contributed to the scholarship fund. Support provided to scholarship funding will assist in producing more scholarship winners.
