Recently, I was doing a presentation on a ZOOM call. And as usual, my 4 year old son was in the background playing with his power rangers and having the time of his life. One lady called me after the call and said, “I was amazed by how you presented so powerfully even with your son in the background and you were not distracted. But if you didn’t have a sitter, shouldn’t you have canceled?” 👀👀👀
I laughed and said, “Nope. Unlike most people, I don’t wait for ideal moments or ideal situations to do things because if I did, I will never do the things that I am designed and purposed to do or even desire to do. Whether my kid was in the background or not, lives were blessed and that’s what matters most to me.” 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So many people are currently making excuses as to why they can’t do things. Let me guess: (1). You have kids. (2). You don’t have the time. (3). You don’t have the money. (4). You don’t have adequate support. And the list goes on!!
Sooooo, let me ask you this. What will be different 6 months or a year from now? Some of those statements will still be the same. What am I saying to you? Enroll in the class, write the book, take the job, launch the business, join the group, make the move, fulfill that assignment or whatever it is you need to do. Don’t let excuses hi-jack you of your God given purpose, your destiny assignment or your opportunity to earn more income. If you are waiting on the RIGHT TIME, you will forever be WAITING!!!
Ask God to give you the grace to execute, wisdom to manage and strategy for effective time management to avoid burnout. Trust me he will. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Meanwhile, while Big Mike was playing with his power rangers in the background, lives were changed, hope was restored to many and the check cleared. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ So go be GREAT folks!!!
