Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
Alhamdulillah, with your support we have paid off more than $1.1 million of the $1.3 million cost of the Dar El-Quran building and land. Only $192,612 remains, and our goal is to pay it off completely by December 2026.
Because the masjid is not yet paid off, every dollar given toward it now is a share in establishing a house of Allah.
Dar El-Quran is three minutes from UT Arlington, one of the largest public universities in the country, with around 43,000 students. Our focus is the youth, and alhamdulillah we have been serving them for the past 10 years, beginning at our old rented location. Today that includes:
- Pillars DFW, our program for ages 18 and up, with weekly lectures and a major event every month
- A weekend school for ages 4 and up, with more than 150 students memorizing Quran and learning Arabic
- The five daily prayers and daily lectures with the renowned Sheikh Mohamed Emara
Your donation serves more than the large Muslim community here. Many UTA students come to us searching and asking about Islam, and alhamdulillah, countless of them have taken their shahadah at our masjid.
We have been able to do all of this while carrying this debt. Imagine what more we could do without it. Our goal is for Dar El-Quran to be a minaret of Islamic knowledge and service, showing the true Islam to everyone for hundreds of years to come, insha'Allah.
Please give today and help us finish the debt by December: Darelquran.org
Dar El-Quran (Elhedaya Islamic Society, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization, and your donation is tax-deductible. Please see the attached PDF for the current building balance and the organization's legal documents, including our IRS tax-exemption letter and state registration.
Jazakum Allahu khairan. May Allah accept it from you and build for you a house in Jannah.
