# # # 💙 Honoring Our Security Team — Jon

Today we want to take a moment to honor **Jon** and express our deep appreciation for the way he serves our congregation.

Jon is one of those people whose **quiet faithfulness speaks louder than words**. He serves in many different ministries within our congregation, always willing to step in, help, encourage, and serve wherever he is needed. And he does it without complaining, without seeking recognition, and without drawing attention to himself.

His kindness is genuine. His spirit is gentle. His humility is evident.

Whether he is serving as part of our **security team** or helping in another area of the congregation, Jon consistently demonstrates what it means to serve others with a willing heart. Sometimes the people who make the greatest impact aren't the ones standing in the spotlight—they are the ones quietly making sure everyone else is cared for.

Jon, we want you to know that **your service is seen. Your kindness is felt. Your faithfulness matters.** Even the things you may think go unnoticed have blessed our congregation in ways you may never fully realize.

We are grateful for your willingness to serve, your humble heart, and the example you set for all of us.

📯 **THE SOUND OF THE SHOFAR — A CALL TO AWAKEN** 📯

As we journey through the month of **Elul**, the sound of the shofar calls us to pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts as we approach the **High Holy Days**. 🍂✨

The shofar is more than a sound—it is a **wake-up call for the soul**. It reminds us to return to the Father, examine our hearts, seek forgiveness, extend forgiveness to others, and draw near to Him with humility and expectation.

May this season of Elul be a time of **teshuvah (returning), repentance, prayer, and spiritual preparation**. May we make room in our hearts for the King and prepare ourselves to encounter Him in a deeper way.

📖 *“Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, proclaim a sacred assembly.”*
— **Joel 2:15**

And we remember the words of Yeshua:

📖 *“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”*
— **Matthew 5:8**

As these men lift the shofar, may its sound awaken something within each of us—calling us back to our first love and reminding us that **the King is coming!** 👑

Today, our hearts are heavy as we gathered to say farewell to our dear sister, **Jasmin Gartin.** 💔🕊️

Jasmin was a bright and shining light—a woman of faith, genuine kindness, and tremendous love. She had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, welcomed, and truly loved. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and her presence among us will be deeply missed.

As we gathered today to honor her life, we were reminded of the beautiful blessing she was to our congregation and the lasting impact of the love she so freely shared.

We especially lift up her beloved husband and their four children. **Please continue to keep the entire Gartin family in your prayers**, asking Adonai to surround them with His comfort, strength, peace, and sustaining grace in the days and weeks ahead. 🙏

As we approach **Shabbat**, may we remember that even in seasons of deep sorrow, Adonai remains near. May the peace of His presence rest upon the Gartin family and upon all of us as a congregation. May this Shabbat be a time to pause, remember, pray, and allow the God of all comfort to minister to our hearts.

**“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4**

Though we grieve deeply, we do not grieve without hope. Our hope is in Messiah, and we hold tightly to His promises.

Jasmin, you were loved deeply, and you will be remembered always. May the light, kindness, faith, and love you shared continue to shine through the many lives you touched.

As we enter this Shabbat, may we rest in the knowledge that Adonai is near to the brokenhearted. May His peace—**Shalom**—cover the Gartin family and our entire congregation.

**Honoring Our Leadership Team ❤️**

As we look back on this special appreciation gathering from nearly two years ago, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the men and women who faithfully serve and lead our congregation.

Leadership is more than a position—it is a calling to serve, guide, encourage, and steward well what God has entrusted to us. We are so thankful for the wisdom, faithfulness, prayer, and love our leadership team pours into the body of Messiah.

We especially want to recognize **Wes, one of our elders**, as he shared uplifting and encouraging words with our leadership team. What a beautiful reminder that encouragement is also a vital part of faithful leadership. ❤️

To our leadership team: **thank you for being faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to you.** Your wisdom and guidance help strengthen our congregation and point us continually toward Yeshua.
