I pray you all are pushing through this week using your faith! Faith encompasses many definitions one of which is reliability. In the spiritual sense, relying on God to overtake your situation and being able to overcome doubt. It's a tough subject, when we face the realities and hardships of this world and begin to lose confidence not only in ourselves but in God's capabilities. Our doubt begins to increase and our confidence spirals downward, and from there we open a world of pessimistic thoughts to settle in. Now, from here one Biblical verse comes to mind: "Now faith is the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1). We can further see that hardships are necessary for one's life, but it's the character we build through it that is vital for us. One critical characteristic we must have is confidence! See, Scripture acknowledges that we won't have perfect lives but there is One who came to know hardship and yet still lived (and lives) a perfect life--Jesus Christ. To have confidence in Christ is to build your faith beyond its borders. The fact is that even when we see that our situation is overwhelming and we are not seeing the positive response that we would like, have faith that Christ will follow through: confess it, declare it and repeat it and you will begin to see it! Have confidence and overcome your doubt, in return your faith will grow! Stay connected with Mizpa and History Makers, the World Changers!
