This question was part of our sermon time this past Sunday. Every once in a while, Pastor Tiff spends time answering questions about faith, religion, life, or whatever is on your heart. There is an open invitation to the congregation to submit questions for a few weeks. This question was just one of many she answered this past Sunday. Here are some of the others she answered: Why did my two friends die at a young age? If you have questions about Scripture, does that mean your heart is not right with God? How do free will and divine plan co-exist?

Thank you, Mason, for all you brought to Rush Creek Christian Church these past two years! From starting the Roundtable class to working on the Heifer Ranch to singing a song about bugs during a sermon, you have made us think, made us laugh, and made us better human beings. Tomorrow is the first Rush Creek Christian Academy- RCCA Preschool Open Gym Play Date of the summer! Invite your friends with preschoolers and bring your kids to play in the air-conditioned gym, 10:30am-12:00pm. Park in the lot closest to Wimbledon Park and enter the gym doors by our playground. I spy caps, gowns, diplomas, and a giant duck! It must be time for Pre-K Graduation at Rush Creek Christian Academy! We are so proud of all of the kids and the progress they have made this year. Congratulations and have a wonderful summer!

We hope you will join us for worship at 10:45. Our scripture for today is John 17:1-11 and Pastor Mason's sermon will focus on Jesus Praying for the Disciples. The music for today will include Amazing Grace and In This Very Room, and we'll close out worship by joining hands with our neighbors and singing Amen.
