Who we are...

In an age of anxiety, we still believe that peace comes from Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In an age of confusion, we still believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inerrant and infallible. In an age of doubt, we still believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. In an age of guilt, we still believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for all si

n. He also removes the power of sin and Satan from our lives. In an age of reason, we still believe that God is at work in the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. In an age of constant change, we still believe in the unchanging Holy Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are a body of believers based on the apostolic Christian faith.

Watch Out for Each Other
Ezekiel 33:7-11

This Sunday, we’ll reflect on Ezekiel 33:7–11 and God’s call for his people to be faithful watchmen. God takes sin seriously and warns us of its consequences, but his purpose is never to condemn us—he desires that sinners turn from their ways and live. Through Jesus, we have the ultimate proof of God’s saving love: Christ took our punishment, died for our sins, and rose again to give us forgiveness and eternal life. As we hear God’s Word, may we be led to daily repentance, renewed faith in Christ, and a willingness to lovingly share God’s truth and the good news of Jesus with those around us.

Resilient Confidence
Philippians 3:1-14

In Philippians 3:1–14, Paul reminds us that our confidence cannot rest on our accomplishments, abilities, or circumstances, because all of those things can change. Instead, our confidence rests in Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose again to make us right with God. Because we are forgiven and made righteous through faith in Christ, we can face life's challenges with resilient confidence. Like Paul, we may not have everything figured out or have reached our final goal, but we can forget what is behind, press forward in faith, and keep our eyes on the heavenly prize that is ours through Christ. When life is difficult, our circumstances may change, but Jesus remains the same—and in him, our confidence is resilient.

"Resilient Prayers"
Philippians 1:1-11

This Sunday we begin a new sermon series, Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times, based on Paul's letter to the Philippians. Writing from a prison cell, Paul shows us that true joy isn't determined by our circumstances but by God's unchanging grace. When life leaves us feeling weary, burdened, or stuck, Jesus invites us to find rest in him. This week we'll explore how to be resilient in prayer—not simply asking God to change our circumstances, but confidently trusting his promises of grace, peace, and his constant presence.
