On Sunday afternoon a group from Advent spent the afternoon enjoying the Ft Worth Zoo together! The baby elephants were a hit for everyone!

On Saturday afternoon our Congregational Life Team hosted a Ladies Tea. We had delicious food, an inspiring message and fun fellowship together.

It’s been a wonderful weekend of activities and celebration at Advent! Too many for one post.
But for now we will focus on celebrating our graduates. 5 high school grads and 2 college grads! AND one of our graduates also chose to be baptized this morning.
We look forward to seeing what these 7 young adults do in the future!

Today was our second Jubilee event in celebration of our 50th year. We welcomed back a child of the church, now pastor, Rev Chris Michaelis, who was our guest preacher. We also had two baptisms! And you can’t celebrate without cake after worship too.
A joyous morning indeed!
