True, Quiet Holiness
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:1 to be careful not to perform acts of righteousness just to be seen by others.
We are called to love, serve, give, pray, and encourage—but not for recognition. True holiness is often quiet, unseen, and deeply rooted in humility.
When we serve in secret, we reflect the heart of Christ.
When we give without acknowledgment, we honor God.
When we redirect praise back to Him, others begin to see Jesus in us.
Even small acts—like praying for someone, offering encouragement, or giving anonymously—can have eternal impact.
✨ God sees what is done in secret—and He rewards faithfully.
Let’s choose to serve with humble hearts and reflect His grace in everything we do.

Jesus isn’t calling us to the impossible—He’s inviting us into a life of transformation. Through sanctification, we are set apart and grow daily in faith, love, and obedience. As we follow Him, we move closer to the perfection we will one day experience fully in His presence.

📖 You Have Heard… But I Tell You
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…” — Matthew 5:43–44
So often, we follow what we’ve heard instead of what God has truly said. Jesus came to correct our thinking and reveal the heart of God. There was never a command to hate—only to love.
Loving your enemies isn’t natural… but it is divine.
It reflects the very love God showed us when we were far from Him.
The truth may feel uncomfortable at first, but it transforms us.
When we embrace it, we grow closer to God and reflect His mercy to others.
🙏 Today, choose to love.
🙏 Pray for those who hurt you.
🙏 Walk in the truth that sets you free.
Because once, we were enemies too… and God loved us anyway

Bible Study: Be at Peace – Turning the Other Cheek
Scripture Focus

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
Background & Understanding
A slap on the right cheek in Jesus’ time was an act of insult and humiliation, not primarily physical harm. Jesus is addressing personal offenses, not situations requiring self-defense.
