Blessed to Learn, Blessed to Be Comforted
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” — Matthew 5:3
A humble heart is a teachable heart. When we recognize our need for God, we open ourselves to His truth, grace, and guidance. Like a hungry soul seeking food, we must hunger for His Word.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
Even in sorrow, God is near. He brings comfort, leads us to repentance, and fills us with hope. Our mourning becomes a doorway to His love and healing.
Come humble. Come seeking. Come honest.
God will meet you there.

The Impossibles
In Matthew 1, the gospel writer speaks of four “impossibles” – events or truths of Jesus’ life that are only possible in God’s power.
Impossible 1: The Virgin Birth
Matthew 1:18 — This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
HOW could this be? The virgin birth may be one of the most denied truths of Jesus’ life. Many doubt it, even some who claim to preach God’s Word. I pray you believe it—you must for your salvation.
Throughout the lineage, fathers are named—until Jesus. Matthew 1:16 points only to Mary. Joseph is her husband, not Jesus’ father.
Matthew makes it clear:
“What is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”
To many, this sounds impossible—even offensive. Yet Matthew boldly writes it, despite the risk, because he knew the truth and trusted God completely.
Luke 1:37 reminds us:
“For nothing is impossible with God.”
Do you desire to follow Jesus? Then trust Him—even in what seems impossible.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for faithful witnesses who proclaim Your truth. Strengthen our faith to believe Your power in all things. Amen.

RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM UNRIGHTEOUSNESS!
The story of Jesus’ lineage is a story of grace, redemption, and transformation. From broken lives and sinful pasts, God brought forth the Righteous One—Jesus Christ.
“No one is righteous, not even one.” (Romans 3:10)
Yet God’s mercy is greater than our sin.
He takes what is broken and makes it whole.
Tamar. Rahab. Ruth. Bathsheba.
Each had a past—but God gave them a future.
Your past does not define you—Jesus redeems you.
Come to Him. Believe in Him. Receive forgiveness and new life.

THEN THEY WILL WORSHIP THE KING!
A powerful promise is coming to pass—people from every nation will worship the LORD Almighty!
“Year after year they will go up to worship the King…” Zechariah 14:16)
After judgment comes mercy. After brokenness comes restoration.
God’s plan is to save, redeem, and dwell with His people.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart… you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
No matter your past, His grace is greater. Turn to Him. Believe. Worship the King.
