Hi everyone! I know life can get in the way and sometimes we don't get to watch as much of General Conference as we hope to. If this happened to you (like it did to me), go to this link and watch the rest of the talks or sessions you missed. Watching our inspired leaders helps lift our sprites and makes our testimonies strong!

With General Conference coming up, this might be a good talk to read to get ready for it. Elder Andersen shows us how to hear the voice of the Lord during Conference. I encourage everyone to be thinking about questions they would like to have answered this weekend and see if reading this talk helps you.

Easter season is upon us! This weekend is Easter Sunday AND General Conference! What a great weekend it will be! I have attached a link to the Church's website, where is gives videos on Easter, activities to do during Holy Week, and ways to recognize Jesus Christ in your lives. I hope everyone has a great week and remembers to keep the true meaning of Easter in your hearts.

As you celebrate Easter this year, remember how Jesus Christ changed history that first Holy Week. We invite you to find ways to be more like Jesus Christ and follow His example this week.

Alright folks, we've got a busy weekend upon us! That being said, bear with me because this is going to be a long post full of announcements. First things first, TOMORROW (02/24) is our youth fundraiser. This is the number one way our youth raise money to go to camps in the summer, so please support in any way you can.

The fundraiser will consist of:
-light dinner
-cake auction
-silent auction of baked goods
-$1-$5 items for sale
-a big surprise for the kids!

This is at the church at starts at 6:00 pm, but parents, please make sure your youth are there by 2:00 pm to help set up. Youth are to wear a red, pink, or white shirt if possible. If you haven't already thought about baking and bringing a dessert to sell, please consider it- the more the better!

The second item of business is the youth dance happening tomorrow night as well, after the fundraiser. The dance is in Fort Worth and transportation will be provided. So make sure your kids know about this and are at the church for the fundraiser if they want to go to the dance afterwards.

Lastly, (if you've even made it this far, and props to you if you have) there are bins set up around the church building for the "Every Member Can" food drive for Arlington Charities. On Sunday, please donate, if you can, by bringing any sort of non-perishable food item. Our goal is to have one item brought per family, but of course we are always welcoming of more!

Thanks for reading these announcements and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Let us take this holiday and contemplate how we can better love our friends and family, and...ourselves! Don't forget about that last one. "As we arise each morning, let us determine to respond with more love and kindness to whatever might come our way." -Thomas S. Monson.

This is an old talk, but such a good one! It is so crucial to gain a personal testimony of the gospel in this doubtful and deceiving world. This is an encouraging read for your week. We love you all!

This is an interesting and an insightful read for your Monday.

The world has recently observed “a divine, sacred, solemn, and orderly transfer of authority to exercise all priesthood keys from one prophet to another—a clear and continual legacy of succession,” said Elder Gary E. Stevenson on January 23.
