Inspiring words from Bp. Paul Donison about the realignment of the Anglican Church worldwide

Division for pride is sin; separation for truth is faithfulness.

11/19/2025

We give thanks to God for the visit of Bishop Paul Donison, General Secretary of Gafcon, who has begun the Gafcon Global Vision Tour in Australia and New Zealand.

Last night’s gathering at Ridley College, Melbourne was the first event of the tour. In the coming days he will visit Hobart, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and then Christchurch, New Zealand.

Together with Canon Jodie McNeill, Gafcon’s Global Operations Manager, they are sharing the story, vision, and ongoing mission of the global Gafcon movement, inviting Anglicans everywhere to pray, partner, and support this vital work for the renewal of our Communion and the glory of Christ’s kingdom.

Join us in giving thanks for the courageous statement approved last week by the Gafcon Primates’ Council, where they announced that the so-called “Instruments of Communion” (the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Lambeth Conference, the Anglican Consultative Council, and the Primates’ Meeting) have failed to uphold biblical truth.

We praise God that this moment marks a renewed beginning, as we forge forward with a fellowship shaped by gospel faithfulness rather than institutional decline.

Pray with us that this renewal will release fresh energy for global evangelism and discipleship, enabling faithful Anglicans to cooperate joyfully in the service of Christ and his kingdom, to the glory of God.
