We enjoyed a lovely pot luck luncheon Sunday. We enjoyed listening to a presentation from the Kairos group, a prison ministry group that we support. Speakers included Angie Bass, Outreach Coordinator, and LaShanna Nimpfer who told her personal very moving story. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food was delicious too!

Sunday immediately following the 10:45a.m. service we will have a church wide pot luck luncheon in our Fellowship Hall. The church will provide fried chicken and mac n cheese. Members are asked to bring a dish. If you can't bring a dish please come anyway as we always have enough food! We will be hosting members of Kairos who will also join us to tell us more about their ministry.

The Friendship Sunday school class enjoyed having Pastor Pistol teach our lesson on Sunday. He has volunteered to teach once per month. We rotate lessons between 3 teachers so no one has to do it every week and Pistol will be 4. If you don’t have a class to attend please visit!

We now have Global Methodist name tags! They are in the Narthex when you enter the front door. Please wear one so we can all get to know each others name. If there is not a name tag with your name on it we have a sheet to fill out and we’ll make you one. After services please remove your name tag and place it in the basket so we can alphabetize them for display the following week.
