Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, dear brothers and sisters,
There is something deeply beautiful and powerful about building a Masjid, especially one that welcomes every soul, regardless of ethnic background, language, or origin. A spacious house of Allah where our children can play freely, families can gather with ease after Salah, and our esteemed sisters have a comfortable, dignified space to pray and connect.
Allah ﷻ reminds us of the honour of those who establish and maintain His houses:
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:18)
And our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)
This is not just about bricks and walls. It is about creating a living centre of unity, mercy, and belonging — a place where diversity becomes strength, where the Ummah feels like one family, and where every generation finds room to grow in faith and love.
When we build a spacious, inclusive Masjid, we are answering the call of both the Qur’an and the Sunnah. We are investing in a sadaqah jariyah that will continue to benefit us long after we are gone: prayers, gatherings, children’s laughter, sisters’ comfort, and the beautiful coming together of hearts from every background.
May Allah accept from all who contribute, open the doors of ease, and fill this new Masjid with light, barakah, and sincere worship. Ameen…💕
Who is with us in this noble effort? Let’s build not just a building, but a home for the Ummah.
