Woods Chapel Family,

With the approach of this weekend's winter storm, we have made the decision to cancel all activities for this Sunday. We had been keeping a close eye on the weather reports this week in hopes that we could still have services on this Lord's Day, but the road conditions are simply too treacherous.

In the absence of any new service this week, we encourage you to gather with your family at home to spend some time with the Lord. Read some scripture, sing some hymns, and pray together. In addition, you can find a link to our sermon archive here. https://www.woodschapel.org/content.cfm?id=213 You can search for a recent message or use the search tool to look for messages by books of the Bible. Hopefully, these things will allow you to be fed this Sunday even though we can't all be together.

Please stay safe and warm over these next few days and we will look forward to seeing you back this coming Wednesday for regular activities.

This coming Sunday morning, Woods Chapel has a special time set aside for members to bring shoeboxes they have packed in preparation for the upcoming National Collection Week that is November 18-25.

If you would like to pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child but:

1) you don't have time to do it now
2) you don't know what to put in a box OR
3) you are on a tight budget

Do we have an amazing opportunity for you!!!

Right now, through the end of the day Sunday, November 17, you can BUILD A SHOEBOX ONLINE. It will help us meet our church goal and will be combined with shoeboxes that people bring in person.

For a one-time cost of $25, including shipping, you can help Woods Chapel meet our church's goal of 70 online boxes.

Look for a green box that says "BUILD A SHOEBOX ONLINE NOW" and click on it. The page will walk you through choosing the age range for your shoebox, and choosing your items. You pay for your shoebox by entering credit card information on a secure page. You will receive an email confirmation/receipt from Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child.

Your shoebox gift will make a difference in the life of a child. Thank you for your time and your contribution.
