Need something to do this Friday Evening? Join us at Woods Chapel as we pack gifts for boys and girls for Operation Christmas Child.

Many of these kids from third world countries will receive gifts for the first time ever. Many will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time and respond.

Over the years, "more than 27 million boys and girls have made decisions for Christ."

Last night we had the joy of celebrating what God did through our Brazil 2026 mission trip! Our team spent time in São Paulo encouraging missionaries, pastors, local churches, families, and individuals and it was incredible to see the fruit of that work. One of the special highlights of this trip was that one of our own church members served as a missionary in Brazil for her entire career. What a gift to send a team back to a place so close to her heart. We're grateful for everyone who prayed, gave, and went. To God be the glory! 🇧🇷

Pray for these amazing girls going to adventure camp, that the word of Christ would dwell richly in them this week at Riverbend!

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. “ (Colossians 3:15-17)

VBS 2026 is in the books! 🎉

What an incredible week sharing Jesus and investing in these awesome kids as they learn to know and follow Him. From the songs to the games to the Bible stories, we saw God moving in the hearts of our kids all week long.

A huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers and leaders who stepped up to serve this week. Your time, energy, and love for these kids does not go unnoticed. Woods Chapel is blessed to have you!

We pray that the seeds of the gospel were planted deep in their hearts this week and can’t wait to see how God continues to work in these kids’ hearts. 🙌

🎉 Day One of VBS is in the books, and what a great start it was! Kids were laughing, learning, and diving into God’s Word with so much energy. A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who made it all happen. We couldn’t do this without you! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 🙌

This year’s theme verse is John 8:12:

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”

Pray for our volunteers and leaders to have energy to serve and provide a safe environment for our kids to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith… and for the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to sink deep into the kids’ souls, that they would follow the light of the world!
