Last week was Adventure Week in Mrs. Hermann’s Preschool Class! ✨🥾🌲
What an exciting week of learning, exploring, and making memories! Our preschoolers became little adventurers as they discovered something new each day. 💚
🎒 Monday: We learned about hiking and explored what you might pack in a backpack for an outdoor adventure.
🍃 Tuesday: We headed outside for a nature scavenger hunt! Our little explorers searched for special things in the world around us. 🔎🌿
🪨✨ Geode Adventure! ✨🪨
On Wednesday, we cracked open a geode and discovered a beautiful solid white crystal! 🤍💎 Each student got to take home a piece of the crystal—a special little treasure from our adventure! 🌟
🔦 Thursday: It was Flashlight Day! We played “I Spy” with our flashlights, created letters with light on the ceiling, and ended our day with an exciting flashlight freeze-dance party! 🎶💃🔦
What a wonderful week filled with adventure, imagination, discovery, and FUN! We are so proud of our little explorers! 🌟❤️

"Our Ever-Present God"
One of the hardest attributes of God to understand can be His omnipresence. Textual questions for Gen 35: Bethel means “House of God.” What does this tell you about God’s presence with Jacob? What does the end of v3 teach? How does it comfort you? God’s presence means that we rid ourselves of idols (v4). What idols want to grip your heart? Where does God promise He is present with you now? Where have you seen His presence in your story? In church? In this world?

Our 3rd graders had the joy of watching Monarch butterflies emerge from their chrysalises! What an amazing hands-on learning experience, and a beautiful reminder of the wonder of God’s creation. 💕

Our little explorers enjoyed some fresh air today, soaking up the sunshine and letting their imaginations run wild with a few prehistoric friends. 🦕🌿

Who says the dog days of summer can’t be dinosaur days too? 😉

"Our Gracious God"
God is a gracious God. Grace means He gives us what we do not deserve. Textual questions for Eph 2:1-10: What do vv1-3 tell you? How many times does Paul use the word “grace” in these verses? How many additional grace-filled words does he employ? We are not saved by works, but for works. How important are the prepositions “by” and “for”? Where have you seen God’s grace in this world? In your story? In your salvation?

A New Beginning ❤️📚
Today, our hallways are filled with little voices, big smiles, nervous butterflies, and the excitement of a brand-new school year. 🥹

The first day of school is more than a new beginning—it’s a reminder of how quickly our children grow and how blessed we are to walk alongside them on their journey.

As our students step into their classrooms today, we pray they feel loved, encouraged, challenged, and confident. May they make new friends, discover new things, overcome challenges, and grow in ways that go far beyond the classroom.

And through it all, may they remember that God is with them every step of the way. ❤️
