A Lighted Path Ranch

A Lighted Path Ranch Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105. It will also serve as respite spot for like-minded traveling missionaries.

A Lighted Path Ranch will exist to educate youth and others in good agricultural and husbandry practices at low to no cost as possible with the core purpose of sharing the Gospel of Christ, encouraging growth in Christ. A Lighted Path Ranch will be nestled in the Appalachian Plateau of the Appalachian Mountains in northwestern Alabama next to Bankhead National Forest and Smith Lake. With 40 beauti

ful acres A.L.P.R. will offer plenty of room to explore, relax, rejuvenate and take in God’s beautiful creation. Youth will come to make some memories and friends as they find and/or grow a relationship with God.

Just a friendly reminder that needs sharing from time to time:

A Lighted Path Ranch welcomes visitors, and we truly enjoy people coming by to see the progress and get a firsthand look at what God is doing here. Our gate is typically open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though there may be times when it is closed due to safety, security, appointments, or because we are away from the property.

If you would like to visit, we encourage scheduling ahead when possible so we can make sure someone is available to welcome you. We also have a family Bible Study on Tuesdays ar 7:00pm.

We do have a family of full-time volunteers living and serving here, along with others who come and go throughout the week. For everyone’s safety, privacy, and peace of mind, we kindly ask that if the gate is closed, please do not go around it or enter the property.

We truly appreciate your understanding and support, and we look forward to welcoming visitors during open hours.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything so that we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

Freedom is never truly free. It has been purchased with sacrifice, courage, and the lives of heroes who stood in the gap for others.

Today we honor those who never made it home — fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, and brothers-in-arms. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Jesus:

“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
— John 15:13 (NLT)

As we gather with family, enjoy the outdoors, and share meals together, may we never forget those who paid the ultimate price for the blessings we enjoy today.

From all of us at A Lighted Path Ranch — thank you to the fallen, to the families who carry their memory, and to all who have served.

May God bless America.

Also, go follow and lift up in prayer Rapid Ministries U.S. Disaster Relief as they serve those in need.

Sometimes, the needs in front of us set the direction.

We didn’t plan to start another project—but the ram pen has been sitting unfinished for too long, and it’s time to get back to work on it.

This isn’t just about fencing or shelters. It’s about stewarding what God has entrusted to us and continuing to build A Lighted Path Ranch into a place that serves others well.

We’re rolling up our sleeves and pushing forward—but we can’t do it alone.

If you feel led to be part of this:

• You can give to help cover materials and project costs
• You can volunteer your time to help build, repair, and maintain
• You can simply share this post to help us reach others

Every board, every post, every hour of work moves this mission forward.

Together, we can get this done.

Thank you for standing with us.

With the help of the voluntolds, we got the floor built in Blanche’s Biddy Barn. Next is the last wall and then we can move on to the run. This will not only be a blessing for our egg ministry but also for our day events where we bring in youth to share animal knowledge that ties to God’s Word!
